2025 Inverness Christmas Parade
Get ready to celebrate all your favorite holiday moments as the streets come alive with dazzling floats, festive music, and the warmth of community cheer! This year’s theme, “Holiday Favorites,” showcases all of our most-loved seasonal traditions, from cozy winter wonderlands and classic storybook scenes to joyful pop culture nods and nostalgic holiday memories. Whether you dream of gliding through a snowy North Pole village or dancing under a canopy of twinkling lights, your imagination is the only limit!
Spectator Information
• Viewing Route: Parade kicks off on HWY 41 near Pizza Hut, moves north into downtown Inverness (Grace St. by Mama’s Kuntry Kafe), then winds along Grace St. to Highlands Blvd, ending at the entrance to Citrus High School.
• Family-Friendly Viewing: Bring blankets and chairs and stake out your spot early—this is a great parade for kids and grandparents alike!
Traffic & Road Closures
• Main Street Detour (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM): Traffic from SR 44 East to Montgomery Ave will be diverted onto Montgomery Ave to SR 44 West or south to W Highlands Blvd.
o Gospel Island residents: Zephyr St. to HWY 41 North
o Highlands South community: Hill St. and Inverness Blvd
o Pleasant Grove Rd. residents: West Arbor St.
• Please follow posted signage and allow extra travel time around downtown.
