Local Announcements

The City of Inverness passed resolution 2020-08, "encouraging individuals to wear face coverings in certain circumstances and matter related to the COVID-19 pandemic" on July 21, 2020.

On June 26, the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulations issued a directive that all bars will suspend on-site consumption of alcohol.

The Department of Business and Professional Regulation has approved Citrus County’s request to permit the operation of vacation rentals pursuant to the provisions of Executive Order 20-123 as issued by Governor Ron DeSantis on May 15, 2020.

Governor DeSantis announced additional re-openings in Florida and signed Executive Order (EO) 20-139, the "Phase 2: Safe. Smart. Step-by-Step. Plan for Florida's Recovery," effective June 5, 2020.

DEP continues to re-open Florida State Parks as part of Phase Two to re-open Florida.
