The Aiello family came up in New Jersey. Italian-American, three generations deep. They retired down here to Florida - and brought the kitchen with them.
The recipes are old-country, tuned over decades in a Jersey neighborhood where pizza was an argument and Sunday gravy was a sacrament. Grandpa's sandwich is on the menu. Hot honey is on the family-favorite pie. The dough is slow-risen, the meatballs are homemade, and the marinara has been simmering longer than most kitchens have been open.
They could've stayed retired. They didn't. Lucky us.
