Wisdom in Rhythm
Exploring a varied combination of frame drum and rhythm instruction, wisdom teachings, ceremonial arts, healing sound and more, the focus will be on women in rhythm, with insights inspired by the pioneering musician, Layne Redmond, author of the world renown book WHEN THE DRUMMERS WERE WOMEN.
This first welcome call to WOMEN OF THE DRUM is an informal and informative gathering time to introduce ourselves, network, ask questions, offer creative ideas and sync in foundation for future gatherings. There is no need for experience in order to join us; All are welcome!
COST: Introductory gathering is no cost; future gatherings at rotating locations will be $ 20
WHAT TO BRING: - $3 for entrance fee to the park, a dish to share, and a blanket or chair.
