Walk For The Wild 2023 5K

Join team FRIENDS OF CRYSTAL RIVER NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE for our free in person 5K Walk for the Wild event. What is Walk for the Wild? It is a national event held each year during National Wildlife Refuge Week with the goal of bringing people together to show support for wildlife and their local national wildlife refuge.

Show your support for the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge by signing up today. When you register, please consider making an optional donation to support our team and help us meet our fundraising goal. Donations are accepted through October 20th.

Start Time: 7:30 am Saturday October 7th. What to bring? A reusable water bottle, your walkin' shoes and your smiling face! Let's walk for nature! Can’t make it on October 7? No worries - walk outdoors anywhere and anytime during National Wildlife Refuge Week Oct 8 – 14.

After completing your walk pick up your Finisher sticker at our free interactive Visitor Center & Nature Store where you can learn more about the refuge, manatees, and other local wildlife.
