Beginners Stand-up Paddleboard Yoga
Curious about Stand Up Paddle (SUP) boarding and/or SUP Yoga?
We are bringing a beginner’s paddle boarding and SUP yoga class to Lake Henderson to help you build balance, strength, and confidence. This introductory class will teach you how to navigate your SUP board, how to safely stand up on it, and how to find balance while paddling. The SUP Yoga class is a seated series carefully designed to help you feel safe and grounded. The class will build up into standing poses throughout the summer months. Learn how to navigate the SUP board, to trust it and yourself. Work on core to build a strong back, soft front, and balance. Find a playful spirit as you experience life out of your comfort zone.
Cost is $50 with board rental per class or $25 if you bring your own board. Payment is accepted through Venmo or Zelle. We have a total of 6 SUP board rentals. Class size is capped at 8 students. For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, you will have two guides: an experienced SUP yoga teacher who is CPR certified and an experienced paddler. Location: Little Lake Henderson.
